Thomas H. Bonafair – Senior Advisor
Tom is the President & CEO of Bonafair Management Group, Inc., the Pella Windows & Doors distributor for New Mexico, west Texas and southwestern Colorado. Annual Sales are in excess of $15 million with one warehouse and three showrooms across the territory. Prior to the purchase of Pella Windows & Doors, he owned and operated for over 12 years New Mexico Beverage Company, the State’s distributor for Miller Brewing Company and other beer, water and soft drink brands. The company had over $70 million in sales in five warehouses and one production facility throughout the State of New Mexico. Tom has also held top management and marketing positions with C&C Cola, A&W Beverages, Brentano’s Incorporated and Baker/Beech-Nut Corporation.

Tom holds a BS from the University of Detroit and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He teaches a Mergers & Acquisitions Course to graduate students in the Robert O. Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico. He has been a senior advisor to Chemical Venture Partners, Chase Capital Partners and JP Morgan Chase Partners. He currently serves on the Private Equity Investment Advisory Committee for the New Mexico State Investment Council and on various non-profit Boards in the Albuquerque area.

John W. Brown, CFA - Partner
John has over 30 years senior management experience in corporate finance, investment banking and private equity investment. In the course of his career, he has completed over 150 merger, acquisition, buyout, public and private debt and equity and corporate finance advisory transactions. He was the Chief Operating Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, LLC where he managed the firm’s US mergers and acquisition, buyout, public and private debt and equity financing, and corporate finance advisory businesses, and coordinated these activities with PwCS’s investment banking and corporate finance advisory businesses in Europe and Canada. Previously, he was Managing Director of Philadelphia First Group, Inc. a private investment banking and private equity investment firm, Vice President - Private Placements at Philadelphia Capital Advisors, the investment banking subsidiary of Philadelphia National Bank, and Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager for Private Placements for Equitable Life.

John is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Michigan, and a BBA from the Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico. He served as the first Managing Director of Invest New Mexico, is a member of the board of directors of the Anderson Schools of Management Foundation, Charter Bank, Altela, Inc. and High Desert Chile, Inc. and is a Partner with Mesa Capital Partners, a Santa Fe, NM based private equity firm.

David P. Buchholtz - Partner
David Buchholtz is an attorney in Brownstein Hyatt & Farber's Albuquerque office. David focuses on government finance law, economic development and state tax incentive law, financial institutions law, securities law and corporate matters. Additionally, he represents issuers, underwriters and trustees in connection with the issuance of government securities.

David has been a consultant for the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department under Secretaries Homans, John Garcia, Bratcher, Dendahl and William Garcia. He has counseled private businesses in regard to a variety of matters pertaining to growth, corporate governance affairs and government relations. David serves as lead bond counsel to the City of Albuquerque and the Intel Corporation and has advised numerous clients on public finance and economic development matters.

Prior to joining the firm, David worked for many years at Sutin, Thayer & Browne where he served as President and CEO from 1994 to 1997. He was also a senior member of the firm's Commercial Practice Group and a member of the Board of Directors. From 1976 to 1981, he practiced with the Philadelphia law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen in its securities and municipal bond department.

Robert M. Goodman - Partner
Bob has spent his entire professional career in banking in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received his undergraduate degree (1966) and MBA (1972) from the University of New Mexico. He spent fourteen years with Sunwest Bank of Albuquerque, NA in various commercial lending and management positions. He was the President and Chief Credit Officer of the bank. He was the Chairman, President and CEO of Capital Bank, a de Novo bank he started in Albuquerque in conjunction with First Place Financial Corporation of Farmington, New Mexico. While at Sunwest and Capital Bank, he served on the board of directors of the holding company for each bank. He is currently Vice Chairman and a Director of the Bank of Albuquerque, NA.

Bob has served on the boards of numerous community organizations, including Sandia Prep School, the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and the Middle Rio Grande Business and Education Collaborative. He served as Chairman of the New Mexico Finance Authority for ten years from its inception through December, 2002. He is currently the Chairman of the University of New Mexico Foundation and recently completed his term as the Chairman of the UNM Foundation Investment Committee which has investment oversight responsibility for the endowment fund. He also serves on the board of the Albuquerque Community Foundation as Chair of the Investment Committee and is a member of the Anderson School of Management Foundation.

Allan J. Hisey - Senior Advisor
Allan J. Hisey is partner in the law firm of Hisey Grafe, PC and has been practicing law in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for over 28 years. His practice is primarily focused on the representation of buyers or sellers in significant merger and acquisition transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, and reorganization of businesses and business assets, asset sales and acquisitions, stock sales and acquisitions, and leveraged and management buyouts. Allan also provides general corporate counsel services to businesses of all sizes, ranging from development stage companies to some of New Mexico’s largest companies, in a broad range of industries. Allan is Managing Partner of Sierra Capital LLC, a private equity investment firm.

Allan is a native New Mexican and earned a BA from the University of New Mexico and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law. Allan has been active for many years in a number of community and charitable organizations, including serving as a board member and Chairman of the Board of United Way, as a trustee of Anderson Schools of Management Foundation, as board member and Chairman of the Board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern New Mexico/Southern Colorado, and as a founding board member and officer of the Central New Mexico Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. He is also a frequent guest lecturer on business organizations and mergers and acquisitions at seminars and at the Anderson Schools of Business at UNM.

Suleiman K. "Sul" Kassicieh - Partner
Sul is Associate Dean for Research and Economic Development, Regents' Professor of Management of Technology and Black Trust Professor of Economic Development. He served as the Chairman of the Department of Finance, International and Technology Management at the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico from 1994-2002. He has consulted with a number of national and international organizations such as Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories in a number of areas such as strategic planning, systems for technology transfer mechanisms, environmental information systems, computer security and decision analysis. He worked as a consultant to Ardesta, a VC firm specializing in Microsystems and served on the Board of Mesosystems, a NM firm funded by Ardesta. Sul also serves on the board of Advisors of Verge, a New Mexico early seed fund and on the board of directors of New Mexico Private Investors, a New Mexico angel group.

Sul is the co-founder and director of the Management Of Technology (MOT) program at the Anderson School of Management. He has been involved in technology commercialization activities in many capacities. He worked over the last 10 years with around 100 technology start-ups. He continues to work on business development, market analysis and financial issues with a large number of high-tech startups. He has been the leader for economic development activities related to technology-based entrepreneurship and is currently writing a book on the topic.

Sul teaches in the areas of technology markets, economic development in high tech and entrepreneurial finance. Sul has been recognized as a major contributor to the research in these areas where he has over 100 technical and management papers that have been published in leading journals and presented to national and regional conferences. His book which was co-edited with Ray Radosevich is entitled "From Lab to Market: Commercialization of Public Sector Technologies" and was published in 1994 by Plenum Publishing Corporation.

K.A. “Tony” Namkung, Ph.D. - Partner

Tony is an internationally known expert on U.S. – Asia relations and is well known and highly respected by business and government leaders throughout Asia and the U.S. He is Owner of Murray Hill Consultants, LLC, an advisory services firm assisting corporations on both sides of the Pacific in the areas of corporate strategy, market access, and governmental relations. Tony’s knowledge, experience and extensive professional network makes him uniquely suited to lead Sandia Capital Partners strategic advisory and investment activities for Asian businesses seeking to expand activities in the Southwestern United States and for US businesses seeking investment and strategic alliances with leading Asian corporations.

Tony has over three decades' experience in fostering U.S.-Asia relations, including at U.C., Berkeley where he taught and served as Deputy Director of its Institute of East Asian Studies, as Executive Director of the Asia Society in New York, and in the think tank community as Guest Scholar at the Brookings Institution and Director of the Atlantic Council of the United States. He has also served as Senior Adviser to Shearman & Sterling and as President of the Shearman & Sterling Institute. He has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations since 1991 and sits on the boards and committees of a number of national organizations dealing with U.S.-Asia relations.

Tony holds a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and is the recipient of numerous national fellowships, grants from private foundations, and honors and prizes in the Asian field. He was born in Shanghai and raised in Tokyo while attending American schools.
